Joining us as a Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD) is a great opportunity. You’ll deliver first-class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a unique service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel; this really is a role that offers so much more than other delivery roles.
About the role
You will report into the Healthcare Logistics Manager and your role will be to provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries, and other Boots stores within an allocated route time.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols. You’ll be provided with a vehicle that is maintained by Boots with all the training and equipment that you will need to work safely, including a handheld device that provides pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.

Information about the role
We are looking for a driver who can be flexible to meet our customers’ needs. Multi-drop experience is definitely preferred and you should be proficient in the use of a mobile handset and Satellite Navigation.
Your basic hours will be 19.25 per week, and your days of work will be 6 days Monday to Saturday. You will cover AM, PM, Evenings, Weekend shifts and your normal start and finish times will be 17.30 to 20.30 Monday - Friday and 08.50-17.00 Saturdays.
You will be on-call for a further two shifts per week as a minimum, to cover extra deliveries as needed by our customers.
