PCB Design Engineer

The successful PCB Design Engineer will design PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and electrical diagrams, assist in mechanical design, and support Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics.
• Schematic entry from design engineering sketches.
• Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information.
• Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials.
• Maintaining PCB library.
• Maintaining the DCC drawing system.
• Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules.
• Responsibility for adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
• Keep informed and support ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities. Commit to achieving the Company's business, Quality, and Environmental objectives and policies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role of PCB Design Engineer, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.
• Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design with knowledge of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies.
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD are a distinct advantage).
