We are recruiting for a Payroll Subject Matter Expert to join our Payroll Team - you will be responsible for ensuring that all payrolls are delivered in accordance with payroll calendars and are legislatively compliant. Our UK Payroll Team is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of all UK based employees, and we have approximately 27,000 employees who are paid weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly across several different PAYE registrations.
A critical, demanding role with extensive touch points and liaises with a diverse Serco community, including contract managers, employees, Human Resources, Pensions, Internal and External Audit, and the business finance team. You will assist the Team Leader with in-house training for existing processes and hold responsibility for handling escalations, working on pay reviews, and other activities that require senior involvement.
