Our client, one of the world's largest independent financial services firms, is looking for an established Payroll Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities will include:
Collate the monthly payroll data and provide it to the payroll vendor via a secure online portal.
Review and reconcile the output, work with the payroll vendor to correct as necessary, and provide the appropriate reports for review and sign-off by the Payroll Manager.
Ensure that all relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time.
Work with the wider Payroll team and other internal/external stakeholders to streamline processes.
Requirements:
5 years of UK payroll experience.
Must have previously worked within a fast-paced team environment.
Must have a good working knowledge of statutory payroll legislation and payroll calculations in the UK.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables).
Track record of developing positive relationships with outsourced payroll vendors.
Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.
