Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee payroll operations across multiple European jurisdictions including the UK, working closely with the outsourced payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual agreements and company standards. Address escalations, monitor SLAs, and manage vendor performance.

  • Collaborate with the vendor on system updates, process improvements, and compliance with local payroll regulations.
  • Ensure payroll process is compliant with company policies and maintain robust controls.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes that may impact payroll processes.
  • Review payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and providing insights to stakeholders. Support internal and external audits by ensuring payroll records are maintained to a high standard.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to manage payroll-related queries, benefits administration, and employee data integrity across all regions.
  • Work with regional and local stakeholders to address jurisdiction-specific requirements and changes that may impact payroll delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in payroll (desirable international payroll experience), with specific experience in an outsourced payroll model. Financial services experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and reporting tools is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in payroll governance, risk management, and maintaining compliance with local and international standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are a plus.

Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid working model with a base in our London office.
  • Opportunity to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Exposure to complex, multinational payroll operations within a leading financial services firm.

If you are a detail-oriented payroll professional with a strong background in international payroll and governance, we encourage you to apply.
