We are seeking a Pension Officer to join a large organisation in Woolwich. The Pension Officer will manage payroll and pension services, ensuring year–end processes and compliance with statutory regulations. The Pension Officer will also provide advice on company policies, rates of pay, and employee benefits.
As a Pension Officer, you will handle monthly pension data submissions, including processing leaver forms and addressing employee, manager, and provider queries. The Pension Officer will ensure compliance with legislation, such as statutory benefits, tax, National Insurance, and GDPR.
Responsibilities:
Perform payroll and pension processing tasks, including manual calculations (e.g., overtime and gross–to–net payments).
Stay up–to–date with pension regulations and provider variations.
File all documentation according to internal processes for auditing purposes.
Resolve complex pension claims professionally.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Strong knowledge of UK Payroll and Pension Regulations.
Previous experience in a similar role working at high volume.
Excellent IT, organisational, and communication skills.
Team–oriented and resilient under pressure.
