Description

As Payroll Manager based out of their Newton Abbot offices, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of payroll services (weekly/monthly, etc.) to a significant number of client payrolls, which vary in size. You will manage, support, and help develop the wider team, dealing with queries and advising clients on technical issues. You will oversee all aspects of payroll processing, supporting accurate and timely payroll processing by calculating wages, managing attendance records, and maintaining detailed payroll information. Collaboration with HR and finance teams is essential, as is staying updated on UK payroll regulations and resolving discrepancies. You will play a pivotal role within the firm's payroll department and have opportunities to progress in your career.

Profile

You will have a career background developed entirely within the payroll service line, ideally in either accountancy practice or payroll bureau environments. You may have developed your career within a mix of accountancy practice and industry or entirely within industry and be interested in transferring your skills into the accountancy practice sector. You should have progressed to the Payroll Manager level and possess four to five years, or considerably more, experience focused on the delivery of payroll services, seeking a challenging new career move within a fast-growing and successful accountancy firm.

Job Offer
