Payroll Manager - FTC/ Permanent- Hybrid in London - up to £110,000 per annum

Oakleaf Partnership have partnered with a reputable professional services firm, which is seeking a Payroll Manager, for an FTC or permanent basis. This role has 5 direct reports and has full ownership of the BAU processing for 8 UK entities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, administer and oversee governance process of UK payrolls for 2,800 employees on a monthly basis via SAP/Workday for HR.
  2. Responsible for monthly processing and full reconciliation of the payroll, review error and exceptions report, net pay variance review, staff numbers review, gross to net reconciliation, creation of BACS files - review with head of finance.
  3. Monthly reconciliation of pension contributions with third party prior to processing the payroll.
  4. Reconcile and produce monthly pension contribution reports for our third party, pension and secretariat and finance.
  5. Deal with queries from employees, managers, HMRC, the bank and third parties as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 15 years payroll experience is essential.
  2. CIPP qualification is essential.
  3. SAP experience is essential; Workday HR is beneficial.
  4. Experience of managing a team.
  5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
