Payroll Manager

Are you an experienced Payroller looking for a fresh challenge?

A highly regarded Accountancy Firm with an office in Ipswich is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 depending upon the level of experience. This is a highly respected Firm of accountants in the area, with their own payroll bureau and you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Processing clients Payroll and processing BACS payments
• Building and maintaining good relationships with clients liaising on payroll, employment, and other matters
• Processing starters, leavers, holiday pay, pension deductions using SMP/SPP/SAP and SSP. Issuing P45’s, P60’s
• Calculations of Tax and NIC contributions
• Supervising the work of the Payroll administrator

Requirements:

• Previous experience of end-to-end payroll in an accountancy practice or bureau
• Good knowledge of auto-enrolment pensions
• Comprehensive understanding of tax and payroll laws
• Sage and Xero experience
