Payroll Manager job in Ipswich, £50-55k + benefits

An ambitious and experienced Payroll Manager is required for one of the UK's top 20 accounting firms who are focused on serving the SME market. If you have extensive experience in either Payroll Bureau, Outsourced Payroll or In-House Payroll and are not afraid to make changes, put systems and processes in place and streamline the department, this is a great opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise across payroll, both internally and externally for the firm's clients.
  • Lead the team in ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients.
  • Have prior experience of implementing new systems and payroll software.
  • Support and nurture other team members to aid their development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Leverage expertise across all aspects of payroll processing, from data input to report generation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise and modernise payroll processes through innovative ideas.
