Payroll Administrator
Location: Hybrid role (with occasional travel to our Glasgow office)
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £27.5K per annum, plus company bonus of up to 10% and lots of other company benefits
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our busy HR Shared Service team. We invite applications from experienced payroll administrators who are comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team.
The role will be responsible for collating data and preparing multiple payrolls across both the UK and Ireland, managing a headcount of approximately 2000 per month.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that involves contributing to the end-to-end payroll of multiple payrolls (fortnightly and monthly) across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
As a developing payroll professional, you will identify opportunities to improve processes and be involved in payroll projects.

Skills required:
- Experience in an end-to-end payroll processing environment (we don't expect you to have done all the steps in the process)
- Previous experience in a large (700+) payroll environment is beneficial, along with a sound knowledge of current payroll legislation.
- Working knowledge of ROI payroll legislation is a plus.
- Exposure to pension administration, including auto-enrolment, is helpful.
- Knowledge of Tax, NI, SSP, and SMP along with the ability to make manual calculations.
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel (v-lookups and pivots essential) and the ability to interrogate and question data.
- Working knowledge of payroll software / HR systems, ideally Sage and PeopleXD / Access.
