What We Expect
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in accordance with the restaurant's menu and recipe specifications.
Assist in the planning and development of menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Support junior kitchen staff in their development and ensure a cooperative working environment.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff and ensure they understand the standards of the restaurant.
Handle food preparation in a timely manner while ensuring all food safety regulations are followed.
Assist with inventory management and waste control to maximize profit margins.
