What you’ll do:

  1. Comply with all company and statutory regulations relating to Health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include awareness of any specific hazards in the workplace.
  2. Assist in the preparation, production, presentation and service of all food produced in the pastry section ensuring they are served at the correct times, within the company’s standards and to the agreed specification of the contract.
  3. Assist the Head Chef when required in planning menus and orders.
  4. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the food preparation and food service area at all times.
  5. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to our customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provides.
  6. Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard.

What you bring:
  1. NVQ Level 2.
  2. 1 - 2 years previous experience as a Chef preferable having worked in a pastry section.
  3. Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates.
  4. Experience in menu planning and production.
  5. Self-motivated, sense of own initiative and the ability to meet targets as set by the Head Pastry Chef.

Package Description

40 Hours per week
£13.32 per hour
Monday to Friday
6:30am to 3.00 pm
Chefs whites/uniform will be provided
A free meal whilst on duty
Secure onsite parking available
