Job Title: Pastry Chef
Location: Barrow
Venue: 4-Star Hotel | 1 Rosette Restaurant
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum
Accommodation: Available

Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and passionate Pastry Chef. You will be responsible for creating high quality fresh desserts, breads, and pastries. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity & technical skill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for the restaurant, weddings, and events.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop seasonal menus.
• Oversee pastry section operations, including stock control and supplier management.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings.
• Train and mentor junior staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a similar quality venue.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and modern plating styles.
• Creative flair with a passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
