Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and diligent non-teaching Pastoral Year Lead to support our Head of Year 8 in raising individual student performance in their assigned year groups and provide support by monitoring the overall progress and development of our students.
This is a crucial role within our school, with most parent/carer/student contact coming through to the Year Offices in the first instance. This role is central to the development and wellbeing of our students and is the conduit between home and school. You will provide support and guidance to our students, as they progress through school.
The Pastoral Team is successfully led by our Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion and Wellbeing and we are looking to expand our pastoral offer as the school continues to grow. The primary focus will be ensuring students are able to access and attend lessons, with support and strategies employed to encourage this.
