Job description

Pastoral Coach (Term-Time Only)

We are looking for a Pastoral Coach to join our Personal Development Team. This is a 17.5 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £11,071 to £13,212 (actual) per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one coaching for students, setting and reviewing targets to improve their performance, behaviours and welfare.
  2. Deliver Thrive Tutorial sessions to groups of students and facilitate discussion activities.
  3. Be a key member of the Personal Development Process (specifically to drive student attendance and progress across all provision).

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
  2. Coaching young people to succeed.
  3. Delivering group sessions to young people.
  4. Knowledge and understanding of how development of PPD can support achievement of the main learning programme.
