Hutcheon and Pearce - Parts Warehouse Operator

Position Overview

A Parts Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving and delivering parts, inter-branch transfers, warehouse coordination, and stock movements. To maintain a safe working environment, they will be responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse and report any maintenance requirements to appropriate parties.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

1. Supply company technicians with parts
2. Research and interpret parts as required
3. Verify receipting-in of shipments and assist with the delivery to proper inventory locations
4. Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
5. Assist in the yard optimisation of the branch
6. Identify back orders and shortages by advancing them to the manager
7. Participate in training to maintain current product knowledge
8. Facilitate the movements of stock and goods around the group of branches

The Ideal Candidate should have:

1. A high level of initiative, organisation, and time management skills
2. Proficient data entry and computer skills
3. Basic knowledge of parts and machinery
