Parts & Retail Salesperson - Wymondham

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Parts & Retail Salesperson for our well-established client based in Wymondham.

How does the day-to-day look?

You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day retail sales within the showroom which will include Parts, Hardware, Clothing, and Groundcare machinery sales. Your role will be to ensure delivery of excellent customer service at all times by dealing with all queries relating to the products and services supplied by the Company either face to face or over the telephone.

You will have:

1. Good knowledge of Agricultural and Horticultural equipment and parts is advantageous.
2. Excellent people skills and enjoy working with the general public.
3. Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods.
4. Good communication skills: face to face, letter, email, and telephone.
5. Familiarity of working in a retail environment and showroom experience (desirable).
6. General computer skills and familiarity with email and internet use.
7. Supporting internal workshop technicians with parts identification.
8. Goods receiving and distribution of orders.
9. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
10. Sales experience and/or knowledge of groundcare and agricultural machinery (desirable).
11. Full driving licence.
12. Smart & presentable appearance.
13. Motivated by sales and targets.
14. Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, handling of cash, cheque, and card payments.
15. A team player capable of working alone or with other team members.
16. Able to use your own initiative.
17. Maintain a good general level of health and fitness.

Schedule: 39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch), Saturdays as per rota (8am to 12pm).

Pay rate: Competitive DOE.
