Job description

Gas Call (part of Sureserve)are looking for an ambitious, hard working & self-motivated person with a strong commitment to providing great customer service to join our team in a lively, busy surrounding.

Candidates should have experience in dealing with clients/suppliers/merchants on the phone and face to face.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying materials required
  • Liaising with engineers and contract team
  • Working with supply chain partners
  • Source, purchase, and manage inventory for parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance operations
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely approvals
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or incorrect orders

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a procurement, purchasing, or inventory management role within the maintenance or industrial sector
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier negotiations, and inventory control
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) supplies is advantageous
