Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

This role is essential in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the efficient supply of vehicle parts to support our nationwide network.

Self-motivated and highly organised, you take ownership of your work and ensure everything runs smoothly. You’re a strong communicator, comfortable working with both customers and suppliers, and have a keen attention to detail.

Experience in parts support within the automotive industry is preferable but not essential—if you possess transferable skills and the right mindset, we will assist you in learning the role.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Demonstrated ability to interact confidently and professionally with a variety of individuals, ranging from company owners to customer service teams, across different levels of professionalism.

Who You Will Work With

You will be part of a Team of four, working closely alongside another Parts Co-ordinator and two Parts Persons. Together, you will ensure the smooth operation of the parts supply process and provide outstanding customer service. You’ll also engage with external suppliers, including Volvo Bus and Coach body suppliers and 3rd party suppliers, to ensure the correct parts are sourced and delivered efficiently. Internally, you’ll collaborate with service teams, body shop specialists, and warehouse staff.

What You Will Do

• Handle calls and email enquiries, processing customer orders accurately.
• Liaise with manufacturers and external suppliers to identify and source the correct parts.
• Ensure all ordering, delivery, and invoicing procedures are followed correctly.
• Process customer orders onto GDS Fusion, preparing them for despatch and invoicing.
• Identify parts, produce quotations, and supply parts required for accident repairs in the Loughborough body shop.
• Assist in the warehouse, including picking orders, supporting goods in/out processes, parcel dispatch, and serving at the customer counter when required.
• Cover for Parts Advisors when needed.
• Support stock management, including participating in the annual stock take.
• Work with the Parts Supervisor to identify sales trends and potential new products, ensuring the correct parts are stocked and available.
• Produce and distribute product promotions and clearance offers.
