You will be joining a fast-growing Private Equity funds tax team, working with great clients and a market leading group of people from a diverse range of backgrounds.

We are looking for someone who is willing to get involved, and who is keen to learn and develop - the team will support you in gaining new market knowledge, new skills, and new technical expertise to help build your career.

The role provides an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their technical, commercial and client relationship skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, working with colleagues who are recognised as experts in the sector.

Our client base will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to work on a challenging and varied portfolio, delivering tax reporting, compliance and advisory services both in the UK and internationally.

Furthermore, you will be able to consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.

You will:
  1. Run client relationships - acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring the team respond promptly to, as well as anticipate, client requests/needs, and maintaining regular contact with clients.
  2. Oversee a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for delivery of tax compliance and advisory services as well as billing and risk management supported by the team.
  3. Deal with interesting and varied tax issues, with support from partners and directors.
  4. Leverage internal networks to serve clients, both in the UK and internationally.
  5. Be responsible for coaching and developing more junior members of staff.

We’re looking for someone with:
  1. Willingness to learn and develop, with an interest in the private equity sector.
  2. Ideally qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with demonstrable post-qualified experience.
  3. Experience in a mixed tax, corporate and/or partnership tax compliance and advisory role (ideally including some experience of dealing with private equity funds and management structures, but this is not essential).
  4. Experience of dealing with client stakeholders, senior management and supervising staff.
  5. Self-motivated with excellent communication.
