Role Summary:

A new opportunity to join a hugely successful events business as part of the commercial team. This role is all about enhancing sponsorship exposure and visitor experience. The role focuses on project and account management, building on partnership relationships, identifying and offering additional services to enhance ROI and brand visibility for clients in the consumer space and encouraging additional footfall at each event through exciting, innovative and engaging workshops. The position requires a consultative approach, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to work towards and exceed commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop engaging workshops, activations, and interactive experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event sponsors, understanding their vision and ensuring it comes alive.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional package options to existing sponsors.
  • Develop and propose workshop and visitor experience concepts with current sponsors to enhance their event ROI and brand visibility.
  • Project manage workshops at events to ensure seamless execution and sponsor satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the wider sales & marketing team to identify additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts, and market out new workshops, visitor experiences to entice new visitors in.
  • Consistently work towards and exceed commercial targets.
  • Attend events to oversee and manage workshops, ensuring a smooth experience for sponsors and attendees.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the events industry (activations, workshops, visitor experience, operations/event management, sponsorship sales/account management).
  • Strong background in project management and partnerships, ideally with experience in the events or consumer sector.
  • Understanding of exhibitions and how to leverage workshops to enhance brand impact.
  • Consultative approach with a track record of building and growing client relationships.
  • Ability to work to and exceed commercial targets.
  • Enthusiastic about working onsite in the Essex office and attending events as required.
