Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Salary: £40,000 to £48,500 dependent on experience and qualifications

Closing date: 13 Apr 2025

Large independent firm with a strong tax practice seeks an experienced tax senior to deal with a portfolio of partnerships (mainly law firms). Ideally, you will have a professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Study support for CTA is available.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing a portfolio of clients consisting of partnerships (including LLPs) and the partners.
  2. Building and maintaining tax relationships with clients, providing an exceptional level of client service.
  3. Reviewing business tax computations for partnerships and LLPs.
  4. Reviewing income tax computations for partners and members, including liaising with specialists on technical matters.
  5. Managing and developing junior members of the team, offering a professional role model.
  6. Supporting colleagues on advisory projects.
  7. Advising on tax planning for partnerships/LLPs and the partners.
  8. Reviewing forms P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreements, where appropriate.
  9. Researching and understanding technical matters, presenting them in a comprehensible and practical way.
