Job description

Job Title: Partner Account Manager (Indirect Channel Sales), Medical Devices

Job Description:

Play an integral role in bringing Philips Emergency Care Professional to those that need it most through harnessing our partner relationships.

In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.

In this role and as part of an agile company that has the dedicated resources needed to achieve its strategic goals, you’ll have every opportunity to become a part of the “NewCo” we are forming and grow both personally and professionally and potentially make an even bigger impact on the acute care space – as well as on the consumers, patients, and healthcare workers who depend on these innovative life-saving solutions.

Your role:

  • As an Indirect Channel Account Manager, you will work with our Indirect Channel Partners to ensure that our UKI customers have the right medical devices to meet the needs of their patients.
  • Through your trusted relationships and tactical account planning with our Indirect Channel Partners, you will maximise order intake, sales, price realisation & customer satisfaction to deliver effective positive change and achieve sales forecast.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain business and product information that you can pass on to the Partners and work with the Partners to analyse sales, market trends, and competition.
  • Co-development and implementation of the sales strategy for the Partner Management Emergency Care Professional Business.
  • Expanding and strengthening existing partnerships in close coordination with the business manager.
  • Evaluating and selecting new sales partners in collaboration with the business manager.
  • Responsible for quarterly and monthly forecasting, OIT figures, etc.
  • Strategic customer visits with the partners.
  • Planning and realisation of product trainings.

This role offers you to work from home, covering the United Kingdom & Ireland.

Competitive salary, sales performance bonus, and company car/allowance. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about all the benefits on offer.

You’re right for the role if:

  • You have a customer-focused background with an eagerness to work on administrative tasks.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with the confidence to balance internal and external stakeholder priorities.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales, alternatively high sales affinity.
  • Business knowledge and good technical understanding.
  • Strong customer/product and market understanding, taking into account the company's economic goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and professional appearance internally and externally as well as a very high customer orientation.
  • You are energised by data and the idea of monitoring competition/market trends and articulate Business Insights energises you.
  • The idea of making a positive patient impact through sharing your expertise energises you.
  • You hold a full UK Driving License.

If you’re interested in this role and have many, but not all, of the experiences needed, we encourage you to apply. You may still be the right candidate for this or other opportunities at Philips. Learn more about our commitment to diversity and inclusion here.
