Location: We have hybrid working in place, with 1-2 days per week, in our office in Canary Wharf.

What exactly will you be doing?
As a Partner Account Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and nurturing relationships with AAT's valued partners, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Your primary focus will be on retaining and growing existing partnerships, driving brand loyalty and advocacy. Additionally, you will lead on the account management of distance learning training partners, providing them with tailored support to enhance their engagement and success. You will monitor financial performance, engagement levels and partner satisfaction while identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help shape account development strategies and ensure a seamless onboarding and lifecycle experience for partners.

Major objectives
Your major objectives will include:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners as their primary point of contact.
  • Drive partner retention and growth by understanding their needs and aligning them with AAT’s business objectives.
  • Lead on the account management of distance learning training partners, ensuring their unique requirements are met effectively.
  • Facilitate onboarding journeys, ensuring partners are well-equipped with the knowledge and resources required to engage effectively with AAT.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance metrics, engagement levels and financial outcomes, using insights to refine strategies.
  • Proactively address partner risks and ensure a smooth offboarding process where necessary.
  • Represent AAT in stakeholder meetings and key local events, driving brand advocacy and loyalty.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify and act on opportunities for account growth and development.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in account management, customer service, or client-facing roles, ideally in education or training sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Sales and negotiation expertise, paired with a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience or knowledge of managing relationships with distance learning training partners is highly desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and use data insights to drive decisions.
  • Financial acumen to manage account performance and identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability, emotional intelligence and resilience to thrive in a dynamic environment.
