Part Time Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including quality control, materials handling, and stock management. This role requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency while ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
2. Engage in shipping and receiving activities, including the inspection of incoming and outgoing goods.
3. Execute picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfill orders.
4. Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
5. Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
6. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment effectively.
3. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and materials handling processes is beneficial.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
