We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity here at Purovets for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS accredited small animal practice located in a picturesque market town in Nottinghamshire. Our client's practice has been long-established in the community, and as a result, enjoys a loyal and dedicated client base. Most clients are proactive in maintaining their pets' health and are committed to providing the best possible care for their animals.
The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house lab, ultrasound, ECG, digital X-ray, and modern diagnostic equipment. A fully equipped operating theatre and regular visits from a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon ensure the highest standard of treatment for every patient.
As part of this role, you will join a diverse and supportive veterinary team comprising one Veterinary Surgeon, three Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant, a receptionist, and a Practice Manager. Their current vet is working towards a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, and our client is dedicated to professional growth, offering support for any specific interests or certificate goals you may have.

The Rota:
• Part time role - 24 hour week
• Sole charge at times
• Working hours: 09:00 -18:00 Monday to Friday and Saturday 08:30 -12:30
• No OOH or on-call
