Job description

Electronics Test Technician - Part Time

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £(phone number removed) guideline + pension

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time pro rata

Schedule: Daytime, Monday to Friday (Earlier finish on Fridays)

As an Electronics Test Technician, you will be responsible for running electrical and electronics tests on prototypes and low volume specialist equipment. You will work with colleagues in electrical and electronics engineering, write test procedures, and run tests and diagnostics on purpose-built and specialist electrical and electronic systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Writing electronics test procedures.
  2. Testing electrical and electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards.
  3. Running diagnostics and fault-finding processes, collaborating with colleagues to identify solutions to non-conformance.
  4. Updating quality assurance and product inspection documents.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience as a Test Technician with electrical and electronic assemblies.
  2. Attention to detail and a diligent approach to documentation and calibration.
  3. Team player with the ability to identify non-conformance and faults while contributing to solutions.
