A Securitas Security Officer is at the forefront of providing professional and detail-oriented security services for a range of clients, namely encompassing guarding, surveillance and interventions as required by our clients on a day-to-day basis.

Working on the site of our defence sector client, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of security standards to the required levels, going above and beyond to be a positive brand ambassador for Securitas and in ensuring the services you provide are delivered to the highest standards. You will be proactive in the undertaking of standard operating conditions and need to be on hand to respond to a range of security and safety threats or events.

Job Responsibilities
  • Building lock and unlock
  • Distribution of keys
  • Open doors and prepare building for daily opening
  • Manage site visits process
  • Involvement in fire alarm testing
  • Prepare handover for reception staff
  • Conduct internal security patrols
Qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history.
  • Due to National Security requirements of our client, we require you to be a British national or held British Passport for min 5 years
  • SIA Licence
  • Be willing and able to undergo and achieve SC Clearance
  • Be able to conduct patrols covering a large perimeter
  • Able to work outdoors
  • Proactive, self-motivated with great attention to detail

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
