Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Planner and Sales Administrator to work on a part-time permanent basis within a long-established manufacturing company located in Medway Towns.


You will be dealing with the production planning and sales administration on a daily basis reporting directly to the Programmer Manager. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in programme management in a specialist industry.


You will be IT literate, proficient in Excel, with a high level of data accuracy and have previous administration experience.


Your Duties will include the following:
  1. Receipt of new customer orders and process in accordance with the company contract review procedure
  2. Load sales orders on to the company MRP planning system
  3. Raise and issue pro-forma invoices when required
  4. Update customer schedules / order book reports
  5. Daily scanning of all invoices / certificates of conformity, and email or upload to customer web-based portals
  6. Communication with customers via email, Teams, GMeet, telephone and on-site visits
  7. Update daily production output charts to measure throughput
  8. Update weekly work in progress tracker
  9. Support with customer booking in/invoice queries
  10. General admin tasks including creating basic formulas and spreadsheets in Excel

The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 27.5 hours per week.
