Operations Co-ordinator / Administrator

20 hrs p/w, £12,700 - 15,000 p/a based on part-time hours (20hrs), Huddersfield, modern working environment

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced and well-motivated individual to join our client as an Operations Co-ordinator to work in the Global Mobility Team. They are a long-standing, successful company with a presence of over 30 years in the local area and a friendly team that is extremely passionate about what they do!

This role will be extremely varied and busy on a day-to-day basis. You must be able to work under pressure. The successful candidate will:

Take ownership of global mobility provision with the main focus on short-term, temporary employee postings. To include but not limited to the following:

  • Research and continuously develop knowledge of global mobility topics to ensure compliance (e.g., employment regulations, visas, social security, posted worker notifications, tax). Prepare concise reports to communicate findings to the management team.
  • Complete project-specific documentation (e.g., visa/work permit applications, social security forms).
  • Gather supporting information for visa applications (e.g., letters of invitation, police and medical certificates, legal translations).
  • Liaise with external parties (e.g., HMRC, immigration consultants).
  • Arrange employee appointments at Embassies/Consulates.
  • Assist employees to obtain/renew documents (e.g., passports, medical certificates).
  • Liaise with Contracts Manager to plan travel requirements for upcoming projects whilst keeping abreast of progress on live projects in relation to global mobility matters (e.g., visa expiry dates).
  • Research and develop processes/best practices to ensure compliance with all of the above.
  • Maintain a database of employee details and accurate digital and hardcopy files.
  • Perform general administration duties.

Experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential. This position is an opportunity to develop the role, make it your own, and become an integral part of the team. For ambitious and conscientious candidates, there is potential for additional duties once settled into the role.

You must be well-motivated and flexible to work as part of a small team. You need to be hardworking, resilient, and able to work to tight deadlines.
