Part-Time Nanny Benfleet, Essex
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 7am 7pm | £18 -£20 gph

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely family based in Benfleet, Essex. They are seeking a kind, organised, and proactive part-time nanny to support them with all aspects of childcare and child-related housekeeping.

Youll be caring for a fun-loving and outgoing 10-year-old girl who enjoys crafts, dancing, fashion, and a variety of after-school clubs. This is a fantastic role for someone who loves being hands-on and is looking to become part of a warm and welcoming household.

About the Role:

• Days/Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00am7:00pm (can also accommodate a 9am start during term time)
• Start Time: ASAP
• Location: Benfleet, Essex (school within walking distance)

Childcare Duties:

• Morning routine and school drop-off (local school)
• School pick-up and after-school care, including attending clubs and supporting hobbies
• Full childcare during school holidays, including planning fun, engaging day trips and activities

Housekeeping Duties

• Laundry and ironing (including school uniforms and sports kits)
• Keeping childs bedroom, play areas, and kitchen clean and tidy
• Meal prep and batch cooking for the child
• Helping keep the household running smoothly while mum works away in Brighton with light housekeeping like emptying the dishwasher, washing up and vacuuming.

Pet Friendly Home:

• The family has three friendly Springer Spaniels you'll need to be comfortable around dogs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Enhanced DBS check
• Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Excellent references
• Recognised childcare qualification
• Confident, reliable, and nurturing with a calm and flexible approach

Salary:

• £18-£20 gross per hour depending on experience
