Part-Time IT Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (three weekdays per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware, networking, web development, and e-commerce platforms, along with experience working in a corporate IT environment. This role requires technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure & Networking: Manage and maintain IT hardware, networks, and related infrastructure.
• Web Development & E-Commerce: Develop, update, and maintain websites using WordPress, Shopify, and other platforms.
• Data Security & Backup Management: Implement and oversee backup solutions and ensure data security best practices.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide IT support and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• E-Commerce & Digital Presence: Optimize online platforms and assist with digital marketing efforts, including YouTube and social media management.
• Customer Support: Assist in addressing IT-related queries and providing technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT within a corporate environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT hardware, networking, and fundamental IT principles.
• Proficiency in web development and e-commerce platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
• Strong understanding of backup procedures, security measures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Currently enrolled in or completed Level 3 (or above) IT qualification (having completed Levels 1 & 2).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive learning mindset.
• Experience in customer service and technical support.
• Familiarity with social media management, particularly YouTube.
