Are you an experienced HR Manager or Head of HR?
I am delighted to be working with one of my clients, based in London as they seek to recruit a Part Time, permanent HR Manager/ Head of HR.
For this role you will need to possess experience managing a HR function in the financial or professional services sector.
Please note, the right candidate will need to have a notice period of no more than one month.
Role: HR Manager/ Head of HR
Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 pro rated (DOE)
Location: London (SW)
Term: Permanent and Part Time (25 hours per week)
Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the people strategy and operations as well as instrumental in shaping the culture of the business.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, talent and performance management, learning, employee engagement, culture & wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development of the organisation's people strategy and lead the processes and structures that support achievement of this.
- Develop effective employment policies and processes that comply with the most current legislation, regulations, accepted professional standards, and that support the organisation's aims - ensure they are fully embedded, understood and followed.
- Lead the annual review process and support the CEO and Leadership Team in preparation for this.
- Provide expert guidance on a variety of people matters using your ER experience to navigate the business and employee through to a positive conclusion.
- Support managers to effectively deal with all people related issues.
- Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, and role model the organisation's values and ways of working.
About you
- Held previous position of seniority and with a proven record of delivery ideally within financial services.
- Inspiring leadership qualities with a track record of positively influencing culture.
- Outstanding communication skills - ability to influence, establish credibility and trust, challenge, and build accountability.
- Able to problem solve and demonstrate operational and strategic skills.
- Commercial acumen - proven record of business partnering to deliver commercially focused people strategies.
- Solid employment law knowledge and proven experience of applying updated legislation to a variety of HR situations.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion.
- Experienced in coaching at directors and management level.
- Hold a relevant professional qualification (CIPD, ILM).
- Minimum of 7+ years post qualification experience.
