We are currently recruiting for a Community Engagement Officer to help with the implementation of Platform’s Customer & Community Engagement Strategy. As a Community Engagement Officer, you will be working closely with customers to build strong and safe communities by organizing and developing a wide range of community engagement activities and projects.
This role will require travel around a geographical area that will include Stratford-Upon-Avon, West Oxfordshire, West Northamptonshire, Stroud, Cheltenham, and Gloucester. While this role is classed as home-based, a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across the locality is essential. Business mileage expenses are reimbursed from your home address as per HMRC mileage rates.
This is a part-time role working 17.5 hours per week.
What you can expect from the role
You will work within the community to establish contact with individuals and groups from all sections of the community through meetings and outreach work to identify local issues and to work together on solutions.
By understanding the needs of the local communities, you will be able to support and manage community-based programmes to promote a healthy and happy environment for all our customers. You will be responsible for organizing and developing a wide range of community engagement activities in line with our strategic objectives.
