Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you want a role that allows you to bring your compassion, patience, and dedication to help young people thrive, while fitting around your own schedule? We’re seeking a Part-Time Children’s Support Worker in Burton to provide crucial care and guidance to children with special needs in a nurturing residential setting.

About the Role:
This is not just another job—it’s a calling. As a Part-Time Children’s Support Worker, you’ll be a key part of a team that empowers children to gain independence and grow in confidence. You can choose to work 2 or 3 days a week, and the flexibility means you’ll be able to arrange your shifts in line with the needs of the site. Whether you're a seasoned professional or someone new to the field, full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity to grow and develop.

You'll work in a setting that blends care with creativity. The environment is designed to inspire and engage, with features like a learning farm where children can explore, play, and learn. You will help foster a positive, supportive atmosphere where each child feels valued and safe.

About You:
You are empathetic, patient, and ready to make a lasting impact on children's lives. Experience working with young people is a bonus, but no specific qualifications are required—just a strong desire to help children become more independent. Your natural warmth and dedication to supporting those with additional needs will shine through in this role.

Why This Role Stands Out:
You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your work around your life while making a significant difference to the lives of children with special needs. It’s a chance to work in a part-time role that’s fulfilling, engaging, and impactful. You’ll get the opportunity to build close relationships with both the children you support and your colleagues, in a setting that prioritizes care, respect, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:
As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll assist in creating a safe, structured, and loving environment for the children in your care. You’ll help with day-to-day tasks, offering guidance, encouragement, and support as the children grow and develop essential life skills. Every day, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference, from the small victories to the life-changing breakthroughs.
