Part-time Childcare Practitioner

Role: Part-time Residential Childcare Practitioner / Support Worker

Location: Bournemouth, Ringwood & surrounding areas

Salary: £24,960 per annum, pro rata (actual based on contracted hours is £10,790 p/a), plus overtime

Hours: 16 hours per week, plus overtime. Usually two shifts per week, shift times are 15:00-23:00 (M-F) and 11:00-23:00 (weekends)

Responsibilities:

1. Provide support and care to children in a residential setting.
2. Assist with daily living activities and promote independence.
3. Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the well-being of children.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
5. Participate in training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
