Job Description

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity? Are you confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team? My client has an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team. This company offers a welcoming office environment, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Summer and Christmas staff outings!


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  2. Process supplier and customer invoices efficiently.
  3. Manage supplier payments and staff expenses.
  4. Reconcile credit cards with precision.
  5. Oversee credit control processes to ensure timely payments.
  6. Prepare VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
  7. Generate regular reports for Directors.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
  1. At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  2. Proficient in QuickBooks software.
  3. Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
