Part Time Alarm Response Officer

LOCATION: Preston

POSITION: Alarm Response Officer

CONTRACT: 24hr weekend days

HOURS: Working Saturday & Sunday days - 06:00 to 18:00

HOURLY PAY/SALARY: £12.00 p/h

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Will have a valid SIA Licence
• Will have experience as the primary response key holder
• Will have experience & knowledge of alarm systems
• Will have a full driving licence. Due to insurance restrictions, there is a minimum age limit of 25 (penalty points must be disclosed)
• Will be reliable, punctual and flexible. A great team player
• Will be calm under pressure
• Will have high standards of communication, both written and verbal
• Will have excellent customer service skills
• Will have good IT skills, the successful candidate will be required to operate numerous systems
• Will be able to perform dynamic risk assessments.

The role will include visual property inspections and attending both intruder & fire alarm activations during the dark hours.

JOB DETAILS:

• Completing routine patrols across the North West
• Acting as the primary response to alarm activations
• Working to complete a schedule of unlocking and locking of buildings, ensuring the premises are secure before leaving
• Producing and issuing routine and incident security reports
• Providing sufficient resources to allow basic repair work to be undertaken when securing property that has been broken into or damaged
• Responding to incidents including; security, fire and welfare/injury.
• Working from both the Burnley & Preston offices as required

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided along with a full suite of online training courses.
