Join Protocol Education! 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant (TA) for Year 3 with ASD – 2 Days a Week in Pucklechurch

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Protocol Education is seeking a 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to work with a Year 3 student with ASD for 2 days a week in Pucklechurch. The school strives to make all aspects of the day inclusive for all and has a passion for bringing the outdoors into the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a Year 3 student with ASD both in and out of the classroom.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
  • Help the student engage with classroom activities, lessons, and outdoor activities.
  • Assist with social and emotional development, both during structured lessons and unstructured break times.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to develop personalized learning strategies and behavior management plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children with ASD, ideally in a school environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and an understanding approach to the student's needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential, inside and outside the classroom.
