An outstanding opportunity awaits a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a highly respected architectural practice in Birmingham. This innovative firm has a rich history and is currently expanding, providing a unique chance for growth alongside the office. The successful candidate will work on a high-profile commercial project, gaining invaluable experience in a collaborative environment. With a focus on RIBA stages 1-3, this role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills and potentially advance to a senior position upon qualification. If you're passionate about architecture and ready to make a significant impact, this is the role for you.
Outstanding opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join one of the UK's most respected Architectural practices, based within their regional office in Birmingham city centre, West Midlands.
The practice has been established for over 30 years and has offices throughout the UK, consistently placed within the AJ100 list of practices year on year. The Birmingham studio is one of the smaller offices with 7 people, but there are plans to double the headcount within the next 12-18 months.
After being appointed on a high-profile, large-scale Commercial project, the Birmingham studio is looking to appoint a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a couple of years of experience to join their growing team. With clear plans for growth, this is a fantastic time to join as a Part 2, as you will essentially be growing with the office, potentially moving quickly into a senior level role once you qualify as an Architect.
The Birmingham studio works on a broad range of projects and sectors, but the main focus of this role will be on a large-scale Commercial project they have recently been instructed on. Therefore, it would be highly advantageous for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant to have experience in this area. This position would suit a Part 2 with at least 2 years of post-degree experience, potentially being close to completing your Part 3.
The practice uses Revit as their main software package, so proficiency in this is essential.
The practice offers hybrid working, usually 3 days in the office and 2 working from home. However, in the first instance, you will likely need to be in the office 5 days a week for the probation period, so Part 2 Architectural Assistants applying to this role should be based in, or within commuting distance of, Birmingham.
Salary in the region of £27,500-£31,500 dependent on experience will be offered to the successful Part 2.
