Job description

Job Title: Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Location: Bristol
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are an established and design-focused architectural practice based in the heart of Bristol, looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role:

As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and community schemes. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and creative studio environment, working closely with senior architects and team members.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with the preparation of design proposals and presentation materials
  2. Support in the development of planning and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software
  3. Conduct site visits, surveys, and research as required
  4. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and construction process
  5. Contribute to project reviews and team meetings

Requirements:
  1. A recognised RIBA Part 1 qualification (Bachelor's degree in Architecture)
  2. Strong design and graphic communication skills
  3. Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite
  4. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  5. Previous experience in practice (placement or internship) is desirable but not essential
