Parking Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Parking Consultant with expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D to join our team. As part of a multidisciplinary consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing parking facilities for commercial, residential, and public infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, urban planners, and project managers to deliver cutting-edge solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed parking layouts, grading, and infrastructure designs using Civil 3D.
• Conduct feasibility studies, capacity analyses, and parking demand assessments for various projects.
• Integrate parking designs into larger urban and site development projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Provide innovative solutions to optimize parking efficiency, circulation, and user experience.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, and detailed drawings.
• Utilize Civil 3D for modeling and visualization to communicate design intent effectively.
• Support project managers in ensuring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D with hands-on experience in parking design and site development.
• Strong understanding of parking facility standards, traffic flow principles, and accessibility requirements.
• Knowledge of local and international parking codes, zoning regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with traffic simulation tools such as Synchro or VISSIM.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives in parking design, including EV charging infrastructure.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and integration with Civil 3D.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is a plus.
