This is your chance to grow within a leading Global IFA and become part of a team that values internal development and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Suitability Reports: Write clear and concise suitability reports, ensuring recommendations meet the needs and objectives of clients. This includes drafting reports on pensions, investments, and other financial products based on in-depth research and analysis.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on financial products, investment options, pensions, and insurance products. Provide analysis of various options to ensure that the advice given is in the best interest of the client.
  • Client Liaison: Work closely with financial advisors to ensure that client files are up-to-date and all documentation is compliant with regulations. Communicate with clients directly when needed, answering queries and gathering necessary information for financial plans.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all work meets compliance and regulatory standards. Manage client documentation and records in line with company and industry requirements, including the preparation of client meeting packs.
  • Provider Liaison: Liaise with product providers, pension schemes, and trustees to ensure timely processing of applications and policy amendments. This includes managing the New Business Pipeline, following up on outstanding information, and ensuring smooth policy activation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role within the financial services sector (desired but not mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, including pensions, investments, and tax planning.
  • Ability to write clear and detailed financial reports and suitability letters.
  • Excellent research skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills – confident in dealing with clients and colleagues alike, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A desire to pursue further professional qualifications, such as CII or CISI Level 4.
What You Will Receive:
  • A salary of £26,000 per annum, increasing upon successful completion of your probationary period.
  • A performance-based bonus
  • Full sponsorship for industry qualifications, such as the CII or CISI Level 4 Diploma
