Are you an experienced Paraplanner with a passion for delivering quality research and support to financial advisers? We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic team and help shape the financial futures of our clients.

About the Role

As a Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) by providing accurate research, drafting suitability reports, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet our clients' complex financial needs. This is an opportunity to work on varied and rewarding cases, from pension transfers to IHT planning, in a collaborative and professional environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Collaborate with IFAs to conduct in-depth product and provider research to identify suitable and compliant solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  2. Prepare clear and concise summaries of recommendations and draft high-quality proposals and suitability reports across a wide range of products, providers, and funds.
  3. Provide specialist input on pension transfers, retirement planning, and complex Inheritance Tax (IHT) cases.
  4. Use financial planning software and tech tools to analyse client data and propose solutions, while adhering to internal workflows and contributing to efficient team delivery.
  5. Communicate with clients on behalf of advisers, ensuring a seamless and professional experience while maintaining accurate client records.
  6. Work closely with the Team Leader to refine internal processes and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Stay up to date with industry regulations, core product knowledge, and complete all necessary CPD and training to meet internal KPIs and maintain technical excellence.
  8. Take a proactive approach to personal development and regulatory awareness, completing compulsory training in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven experience as a Paraplanner, ideally within an IFA or wealth management environment
  2. Strong knowledge of financial planning, pensions, investments, and tax planning
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Confident working independently and as part of a team
  5. Comfortable using industry software and platforms to research and produce reports
  6. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  7. Committed to continuous professional development and regulatory compliance
