About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality urgent care within a variety of settings, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective, safe, and compassionate patient care. The Paramedic Practitioner will have the opportunity to work autonomously in assessing and treating patients, as well as supporting their ongoing care and rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Responding to emergency calls and providing pre-hospital care to patients.
2. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and providing treatment according to established clinical guidelines.
3. Supporting patients with a variety of medical conditions, including chronic illness management and acute care needs.
4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals across services to ensure a seamless patient journey.
5. Ensuring that all documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
6. Providing education and advice to patients, families, and carers.

Essential Criteria:

1. HCPC registered Paramedic with a valid driving license.
2. Experience in pre-hospital emergency care and/or urgent care settings.
3. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
6. Passion for patient-centered care.

Desirable Criteria:

1. Experience in primary care or advanced clinical assessment.
2. Relevant post-graduate qualification or ongoing professional development.
