Role Overview

We are looking for a talented paralegal to join our Hub and contribute to the development of Lexis+UK, our online practical guidance and research product for legal professionals.

This is a fixed-term role for 9 months where you'll be working with Professional Support Lawyers and subject matter experts focusing on the Local Government, Public Law and In-house Advisor modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Draft practical guidance content (e.g., practice notes, checklists, and precedents).
2. Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy.
3. Collaborate with external authors and take notes at meetings.
4. Contribute to the development of technical solutions with our product teams.
5. Support feature development and projects to improve the functionality of LexisNexis online materials.

Requirements

1. Strong legal research and writing skills.
2. Excellent academic qualifications (Law degree/GDL/LPC/BTC) and legal research and writing skills.
3. Understanding of legal issues, procedures, and content types.
4. Experience in a legal environment (e.g., private practice, in-house, or at the Bar) is desirable.
5. Experience supporting legal practitioners with research is a plus.
6. Clear and concise writing style, adaptable to LexisNexis house style.
