*Note: This position is a hybrid remote/office role, and you must be able to report in person to Ada on Tuesdays through Thursdays as part of our collaboration days*

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our dynamic Trademark, Copyright, & Social Media team in Ada, MI. This individual will play a key role in supporting Alticor's global trademark portfolio and assisting with related copyright and social media projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for intellectual property law, a collaborative spirit, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

This role is key in supporting our global trademark portfolio and assisting with related copyright and social media projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about intellectual property law, collaborative, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Key responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with global internal stakeholders at all levels.
2. Corresponding with international law firms under attorney supervision.
3. Maintaining docket records (including annuity and renewal fee payments).
4. Analyzing trademark search results and summarizing them for attorney review.
5. Conducting trademark screening searches (training provided).
6. Preparing and filing USPTO trademark applications.
7. Assisting with other IP matters as needed.

Required qualifications:

Required to have one of the three qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree with a certificate in Paralegal Studies
2. Associate’s degree in paralegal studies with 2+ years of relevant experience
3. Completion of management-approved paralegal certification with 5+ years of paralegal experience

Additional qualifications:

1. Experience working with global trademark portfolios.
2. Familiarity with USPTO procedures and filing requirements.
