Paralegal/Assistant Commercial Property

Full-time Role Hours 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property paralegal.

You will be joining a busy and successful team that undertakes all aspects of commercial property acquisition and disposal.

The role primarily involves providing assistance to the solicitors within the department in relation to a mix of client work. Carrying out legal tasks is required, including drafting tasks in relation to legal documentation, drafting correspondence, preparation of SDLT returns and Land Registry forms and liaising directly with clients. The role also requires undertaking administrative tasks as well as transcription work, taking client calls, managing diaries, and assisting with file management as well as support for organising, and attendance at, marketing events.

This role may suit a candidate who is interested in a career in the law and who might later intend to qualify as a solicitor via the SQE route. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within a commercial property team or alternatively will have experience of development and plot sales work within the residential property work-type.

It is essential that applicants also have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, the ability to work efficiently and accurately together with good software skills including a sound knowledge of electronic legal forms.
