What you’ll do
As a Paralegal, you will be part of a specialist team dedicated to supporting survivors of abuse and those failed by public authorities. In this role, you’ll:
- Work with well-respected and nationally recognised peers with decades of experience in high value complex litigation.
- Attend and take notes of meetings, as well as attend court/conferences with counsel.
- Draft relevant documentation and provide legal and administrative support to senior lawyers.
- Carry out research into quantum, legislation, and case law.
- Assist with business development where appropriate.
- Support the team with file management.
- Take new enquiries and deal with other professionals and clients as required.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and brings:
- Basic knowledge/interest in personal injury.
- Experience of dealing with client information with tact and sensitivity, and the ability to discuss matters with clients in a sympathetic manner.
- A highly flexible approach and the ability to work well and flourish in a team environment.
- Excellent all-round communication skills, including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent IT skills with an in-depth knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Great time management and organisational ability.
